Transferring the ESET security product license to another new computer is necessary when you are going to transfer your ESET security product to a new computer. The same product and license is not used in different computers. For installing the same product in different computers, you need to purchase different license. Otherwise the product will not work properly. So, if you are moving your ESET security product to a new computer, you need to uninstall the ESET security product from your old computer. Then you have install it in a new computer with the same product license. The following steps should be followed to install or transfer the old ESET security product license to a new computer.
- First download the ESET Security products from the ESET official site i.e. www.eset.com
- After completing the download, install the product.
- Now, input the username and password in the username and password box for activation. Activation is only possible if you input the valid username and password. (The username and password are case sensitive and the hyphen in the username is necessary. So it is better to copy and paste the username and password).
- After inputting valid username and password, it will starts to run update.
If you lost your username and password accidently, you can also recover it easily. This can be done by entering your email address used to purchase or activate your software license.
